Prayer Commitments

Prayers

Our spiritual director, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, recommended specific practices and prayers to help create the causes for Vajrapani Institute to flourish, remain stable and benefit sentient beings for many hundreds of years. There are two practices that came out as most beneficial to recite:

The Arya Sanghata Sutra

You can download the Sutra in many different languages
You can also read about the benefits of reading this sutra

The Short Tendrel Nyesel Prayer

Padmasambhava, great embodiment of all the sugatas and bodhisattavas throughout the whole of space and time, All you deities of the Tantras of Illusory Net, the Dupa Do, Lama Gongdu and Kagye – Through the power and truth of your compassion and your blessings, let nothing inauspicious ever come to be!
