We are now offering select online courses through Vajrapani Institute! Wisdom at the Workplace is a transformative workshop series that helps students develop the skills to apply Buddhist wisdom and compassion to their daily work lives. We are so fortunate to have Duanna Pang, a long-term practitioner, mindfulness meditation teacher, and expert leadership coach, lead this exciting course for our students.
Student Testimonial:
“This class brought two crucial areas of my life – dharma and work –together in helpful, applicable ways. Duanna provided a balance of guided teachings and group discussions, creating an open, non-judgmental space for us to explore the integration of dharma into “real life.” We were given the option to receive coaching in the group setting, which was very useful and helped me to realize that I am not alone in my workplace struggles. Thanks to Duanna and our wonderful group. I can’t wait for Part 2!” – Roxi Giuliano
About this course:
Work is messy and people are complex. Given that the average person spends over 50% of their waking hours on work, it makes sense not to view work as an imposition but rather as an invitation to gain real wisdom and be a cause for happiness.
Join us for a series of four workshops in February to discover how the dharma can illuminate your work life. Through interactive discussions, coaching, practical exercises, and guided analytical meditations, you’ll learn how to:
- Rediscover your natural confidence.
- Stay unshakably purpose-focused and at ease, regardless of your perceived success or failure, happiness or misery, recognition or indifference.
- Deal with challenging colleagues.
- Approach difficult interactions with calm clarity and compassion.
- Transform stress and burnout.
- Turn challenges into invitations for simplicity and self-care.
- Respond with wisdom.
- Navigate tough situations with insight and equanimity.
Be an aspiring bodhisattva leader in your workplace – a source of inspiration, joyful encouragement, and a benefit to your colleagues. Let wisdom guide your work!
