Group Retreats

Learning Together

Group Retreats offer a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding and practice in the company of others. Guided by qualified teachers, these retreats create a supportive space to explore the Dharma, strengthen your meditation, and share insights along the way.

Each retreat is unique—some last a few days, others span several weeks—and they cover a wide range of teachings and practices. You can browse and register for upcoming group retreats on our Events Page.

Benefits of Group Retreat

  • Personal guidance: Receive direct feedback and answers to your questions from experienced teachers.
  • Shared inspiration: Exchange ideas and experiences with fellow practitioners.
  • Collective energy: Draw strength and motivation from practicing together.
  • Confidence building: Deepen trust in your own understanding and skill.
  • Community connection: Meet like-minded individuals walking a similar path.

Choosing the Right Program

  • All Levels: Open to everyone, regardless of experience.
  • Introductory: Perfect for newcomers to meditation or those wishing for a gentle review.
  • Intermediate: Best suited for students familiar with the lam-rim teachings and basic meditation practice.
  • Advanced: Designed for those with a strong grounding in lam-rim or tantra and extensive meditation experience.

Levels of Silence

Silence allows the mind to settle and the heart to open. While we encourage full silence for most retreats, each teacher determines the level of silence that best supports the group.

  • Full Silence: Observed throughout the retreat, with limited speaking during discussion groups or teacher sessions. Silence is maintained during meals, breaks, mornings, and evenings.
  • Partial Silence: Typically held from evening through lunchtime the following day.
  • Minimal Silence: Maintained only during specific meditation or work periods.
